Administration and Management

 

  STAFF MANAGEMENT

Mr. Bond has been in a position of direct administrative and management responsibility for; Centex Homes, The Bond Organization, The Martin Organization, The Architectural Group, and Metrotec/Bond & Associates for a sum total of twenty five years. During this time period, he has touched essentially every aspect of office management and administration.

 

Centex Homes is a publicly traded corporation with five regional offices and divisions in most major cities in the United States. .  The Mid-Atlantic Region extends from South Carolina to New Jersey to Tennessee.

As Director of Architecture for the Mid-Atlantic Region, Mr. Bond was the primary driver of the architectural and planning process for many new communities.

 

The Bond Organization was a sole proprietorship established as a Subchapter S Corporation.  Mr. Bond was the sole stockholder of the company.  The company was closed upon joining Centex Homes.

 

The Martin Organization is the twenty sixth largest architectural and planning firm in the United States.  Mr. Bond served as Vice President and Regional Manager, and as such, directed all aspects of the Southeastern Division offices located in Atlanta.

 

Reg Narmour/The Architectural Group is headquartered in Charlotte, N.C.  Mr. Bond served as Vice President and Regional Director for the Florida Division offices located in Tampa.  Mr. Bond's responsibilities entailed the management of a staff of 18 people.

 


Metrotec was a partnership between Mr. Bond, Mr. Darcy Sullivan, Mr. Phillip Lynn, Mr. Joe Fortunato, and Mr. Pinkney Hester.  Mr. Bond served as President of the partnership; as well as owner of all office furniture, fixtures and equipment.

 

FINANCIAL RECORDS

 

Financial records for The Bond Organization were initially maintained utilizing a software system published by Harper Schuman, Inc.  The system included; project file maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and tracking of profit and losses on each individual project.  The system proved to be cumbersome, and was later changed to a combination of Quicken and Quick Books software.

 

Data for financial records for The Martin Organization were produced under Mr. Bond's direct supervision in the Atlanta office and forwarded to Philadelphia.  The corporate offices cut all checks for accounts payable and payroll.  Receivables were typically collected in Atlanta and forwarded to Philadelphia.

 

Data for financial records for The Architectural Group were produced under Mr. Bond's direct supervision in the Tampa office and forwarded to Charlotte.  The corporate offices cut all checks for accounts payable and payroll.  Receivables were typically collected in Charlotte.

 

EMPLOYEE MANUAL

 

Mr. Bond has developed an Employee Manual that has served him well in his employee relations. Drug related problems, charges of sexual harassment and other such issues have caused employers and managers to be every wary of potential problems relating to the employment of staff.  The Employee Manual has been produced in an effort to anticipate these problems, and establish a policy for the legal and ethical management of each should it occur.
